Lynne's eclectic tastes and a background in graphic and industrial surface design makes her ideally placed to create fabrics that reflect her passion for NOT running with the pack.
Lynne believes colour is underused in the face of an overwhelming “safeness” evident in many of today's interiors. Striking use of colour and pattern are our lifeblood and Lynne is passionate about making sure that, once again, they become more readily accepted in the interiors industry.
Lynne's earliest ideas were expressed as large, bespoke tablecloths. Beautifully detailed, they were artworks in their own right and because they were created for what is essentially a social purpose, they gave her the idea to name her business Social Fabric.
That was 25 years ago and since then our technical skills and Lynne's ongoing collaboration with Materialised have ensured that Social Fabric continues to develop as a supplier of innovative, high quality textile designs.
